Steve Brine has congratulated West Hampshire CCG and the Wessex Academic Health Science Network after its RESTORE2 project won The Excellence in Primary Care category at the NHS Parliamentary Awards.
Mr Brine, who was present for the ceremony, had nominated the project, which works with GPs and care homes to support the early recognition and communication of physical deterioration for residents.
This ensures that people receive earlier urgent community and emergency care, in the most appropriate place, at the right time and by the most competent person.
Steve Brine said: “I love the idea behind these awards, and was delighted to personally nominate the RESTORE2 project from right here in Hampshire. Huge congratulations to the team who were delightfully surprised to win. Hope they celebrated in style as I know a lot of work has gone into this project.”
