Steve Brine, MP of Winchester, donned a hi vis jacket and hard hat to help lay the official date brick for McCarthy and Stone's brand new Retirement Living Plus development on The Dean in Alresford.
Steve Brine joined the McCarthy and Stone team including Construction Contracts Manager, Karle Roche, to take a closer look at development plans and find out more about the benefits of Retirement Living Plus.
Located in Alresford, the development will comprise of a mix of one and two bedroom luxury apartments, specially designed for those aged 70 and over. Apartments will be available to reserve off plan towards the end of 2018 with first occupations expected summer 2019.
Steve Brine MP commented: "It was a pleasure to visit the site of McCarthy and Stone's upcoming development in New Alresford, and to lay a date brick. The new Retirement Living Plus development will provide an ideal downsizing option for retirees seeking the privacy that comes with owning your own home; but need a little extra support in the form of domestic assistance, such as help with laundry or cleaning, and 24-7 tailored care packages.
The apartments will offer ample communal space for homeowners including a large Club lounge, perfect for socialising with new neighbours, on-site bistro which will serve fresh and nutritious meal options for homeowners daily, and a handy guest suite for when family and friends come to stay.
The New Alresford development will be built with security in mind with a camera entry system to the development along with 24-hour emergency call points for all of the apartments. An Estates Manager along with an experienced support team, will also be available day or night to oversee the running of the development and to offer any help.
