Steve Brine visited a south Winchester hamlet on Friday 1st July as he dropped in on the team at Jelerang.
The small tech business, based in Standon, between Pitt and Hursley, came in the top 100 of Small Business Saturday last year, and asked to meet with Steve so they could brief him on their suggestions for opportunities around helping people make healthier choices when dining out.
As well as briefing the MP on their plans, Chris and Joel from the team discussed Brexit with Steve, from their perspective as small-business owners, as well as the perspectives they and their families had.
Steve said: "This is a fantastic, exciting business full of creativity, energy and downright hard work, and this afternoon reminded me of my life before I became an MP, straining every sinew to make the business work and of course, juggling invoices and chasing payments!
"I really enjoyed learning more about their plans, and am ready to help out this truly local business where needed.
"It was also important for me to take feedback from them about Brexit, which will help me when I in turn brief Ministers and the next Prime Minister."
