Winchester has one of the lowest claimant counts in the country, after House of Commons figures revealed that just 0.7% of the working age population are unemployed.
The figures for March 2016 put Winchester 623rd highest, out of 650 constituencies, with the UK's average claimant figure at 2.5%, and show improvement from the February total.
Steve Brine MP said: "There is never an ounce of complacency but these really are very encouraging figures and testament to the dynamic local economy that continues to create jobs.
"I am particularly pleased to see the numbers claiming JSA among 18-24 year-olds continue to fall."
