Steve Brine dropped in to Fresher's Fayre at the University of Winchester on Saturday 21st September as the campus Conservative society met hundreds of new and returning students.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP, who was also joined by Cllr James Byrnes, chatted to students about a number of issues, including getting through university, national politics and even the German general election!
Steve said: "Fresher's Fayre is always such good fun and it's made all the better by having such a healthy Conservative student society on campus.
"This year's event had a slow start, owing to the very late 'Fresher's Flirt' event the night before in the Students' Union but it got really busy at lunchtime and first years were really keen to chat.
"We actually had our best year to-date in terms of the interest shown and new students signing up to be active members of the society. I look forward to having them as part of Team Winchester."
