Steve Brine dropped into Parchment Street on Friday 19th July to open a dynamic new business centre in the centre of Winchester.
Winchester's Business Improvement District has piloted the scheme, which provides a professional, innovative hub for business growth and development in the city.
The new Business Centre, which aims to provide comprehensive support to existing, and new businesses, is located in the newly refurbished Winchester Business Centre in Parchment Street.
Steve said: "As I said during the opening, this new hub makes absolute perfect sense, and is certainly no gimmick! We are so lucky in Winchester that we have so many business-focussed and business-friendly people, and those who work alongside BID, such as Winchester City Council.
"I was delighted to see so many familiar faces here today, including Cllr Rob Humby, Prof Chris Turner from BID, Jimmy Chestnutt from Hampshire Chamber, and local businessman Jeremy France. I am sure this will be a fantastic new facility, and wish the team all the very best."
The new Business Centre is fully equipped with a spacious modern workspace, individual desk and collaborative work areas, unlimited wi-fi access, a private conference room that seats 12 with a 50" plasma TV, office support services, including phone answering service and a registered business address, secure storage arrangements and self-catering refreshment facilities.
It is open 9.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday, and is based at 10 Parchment Street.
