Steve Brine opened the newly refurbished Yellow Dot Nursery at Penarth House in Otterbourne on Friday 12th October.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP toured the building with his wife Susie and young son William with the nursery's founder, Jane Dyke.
Jane said: "Fifteen years after opening Yellow Dot Kindergarten in Millers Dale, we are privileged to be looking after over 800 children, in 8 different locations locally, covering a radius of 30miles.
"Our aim was and still is to provide an educationally stimulating environment where children are valued as individuals and encouraged to develop their potential. In the early years children learn faster and develop more rapidly than at any time of their lives: early learning is the basis for successful future developments."
Steve added: "The Yellow Dot name is fast becoming synonymous with high quality childcare in this area and that is solely down to the investment and attention to detail Jane and her team have put into it. What I love above all else is that Yellow Dot is one woman's dream becoming reality and, because she's been able to realise it, we have new childcare places and valuable new private sector jobs created locally. I wish the team in Otterbourne and across this fast-growing business every success for the future."
Yellow Dot Nursery Otterbourne is open 51 weeks through the year from 7.45 am until 6 pm.
