A range of new Winchester- themed products is to be launched in the city on Saturday 5th May.
Sew Iconic will launch its debut range of vibrant and unique printed designs of Winchester at the Tourist Information Centre in Winchester, with the event starting at 11am.
This new partnership business in Winchester is run by local entrepreneurs Andrea Brindle and Jennie Heath. The business partners are looking forward to seeing their modern images of the city in use in the form of printed images on their brightly coloured bags, cushions, tea towels and fair-trade baby and children's wear range.
After taking a stall at The Winchester Art and Design Market in order to gauge market opinion, Sew Iconic was left with a very clear message, visitors and residents wanted to see- 'Contemporary and stylish designs of Winchester on everyday products.'
Andrea said: "Our range is carefully selected to appeal to all ages. Whether you are a tourist, a resident, or have fond memories of Winchester, we hope that you will enjoy using the products and be reminded of our beautiful, iconic city. We look forward to meeting visitors at the Tourist Information Centre on 5th May."
Local MP Steve Brine said: "This is yet another example of the creativity we have here in Winchester, and I am particularly looking forward to the launch of their website on the same day. There will be much of interest I am sure to local residents and tourists alike, and I wish them all the very best in this venture."
