Steve Brine joined 1-1 Recruitment as the local company launched itself at its new City Road site.
The business, owned by Winchester residents Helen and Jim Floor, has grown since 2000, and acquired new offices in Basingstoke, Fleet and Andover, before taking over P & D Employment in August.
1-1 Recruitment is now the leading independent recruitment agency in Hampshire, with a 2011 turnover of £4m.
Steve joined Helen, Jim and the team as they celebrated the launch, and the Winchester MP was asked to cut the ribbon. He said: "It was a real pleasure to pop down the road this afternoon and do the honours cutting the ribbon. Helen and Jim are so dynamic, and that really rubs off on their tremendous team.
"I am sure that this very hungry business will continue to go from strength to strength, and wish them all the best for the rest of the year and a very successful 2012."
