Steve Brine hosted local Greening members as part of a national Greening Campaign event he organised with Damian Hinds, MP for East Hampshire, in the House of Commons on Monday 13th June.
Steve was one of a number to speak, which included Minister of State for Climate Change Greg Barker, who praised the Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP for his personal commitment to the issue.
Terena Plowright, of Greening, said: "The event in Parliament on 13th June was splendid. Greg Barker sang the praises of the Greening Campaign groups across the country and encouraged us to get involved with the Green Deal. The young people who spoke were a fantastic example to all those watching.
Steve said: "It was great to see such a crowd here, and Greg spoke wonderfully, echoing my sentiments entirely. It was lovely to see representatives from Greening Fulflood and Greening Colden Common in attendance as well.
"Damian and I were delighted to organise the occasion, and we remain 100% committed to promoting the issue."
