Supermarket special at Tesco Winnall

Local MP, Steve Brine, held a very special summer tour event as he sheltered from the rain holding a supermarket surgery in Tesco Extra in Winnall.

In previous years the MP has held a surgery in Sainsbury's in Badger Farm, but Steve mixed things up and headed to Winchester's other major supermarket.

Steve spent nearly two hours chatting with shoppers about a wide range of issues including the NHS, local development and cancer treatment.

Mr Brine said : "A welcome respite from the rain this afternoon. Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hi and to the Tesco team for their incredibly warm hospitality."
