Local MP, Steve Brine, paid a visit to one of the country's big energy firms based right here in the constituency.
He dropped in on Utilita which has its headquarters in Chandler's Ford on Friday May 6 2022.
Mr Brine met with company boss, and founder, Bill Bullen to discuss the energy price cap, possible further price rises this Autumn and energy efficiency.
Steve says; "I first met Bill early on in my time as our MP and could tell then Utilita was set to be one of the big companies working in this area. Today they're one of the big seven firms and it's great to have them based locally.
“Rising energy costs are among the biggest concerns to my constituents at this time as the cost of living soars. It is always useful to understand the drivers behind this to better inform my contributions in Parliament and when speaking with Ministers.”
