Steve Brine and his family joined residents of Twyford for the Twyford Village “Green fair” at St Mary’s Church this afternoon.
The MP and local residents were blessed with scorching temperatures and sunny weather throughout the day.
Along with the traditional ice cream, cakes and treasure hunts, the churchyard was filled with stalls run by green businesses showing off their eco-projects, local garden produce and fair trade goods.
Speaking afterwards Steve said; “It was a real glimpse of normal back in play after so long. With many fetes and fairs being cancelled this summer, it was such a pleasure to be able to join the village in celebrating the good weather and great local green projects.”
