Steve Brine met up with local organisation, Winchester Creatives, to hear what they’re doing to support his constituents during these tough times.
Richard, from Winchester Creatives, told Steve about their fundraising campaign and how they plan to help young people in the local area, to secure jobs in the creative sector. Richard and the team are trying to raise £50,000 to provide 5 apprentices with a living wage for 5 months and help them to find jobs in the creative industry.
Steve heard how the team have been calling for the backing of local business to help with their campaign and Steve was happy to pitch in and make a small video promoting their brilliant plans.
Steve Brine said; "I instantly liked this idea; it's so positive and it's just what we need at this time."
