The sun was shining on Twyford this afternoon for the village's latest 'Green Fair' hosted by St Mary's Church and a group of hard-working volunteers.
Local MP, Steve Brine, joined the ward councillor, Sue Cook, as the duo took in the July heat whilst catching up with local residents on all things environment and climate.
The Winchester and Chandler's Ford MP used the opportunity to gather questions from constituents ahead of the Conservative Environment Network's hustings with Conservative leadership contenders on Monday afternoon.
Steve said; "This couldn't of come at a better time with those MPs vying to be our next PM taking part in a green hustings in just two days. I'm thankful to all who let me know their thoughts and gave some great questions to put to the contenders."
"I'm always glad to drop into Twyford and catch-up with its active and kind community, thank you to everyone who made the fair special and for all who came-by to say hi to me and the kids."
