Steve Brine dropped into the new Subway store on Southgate Street on Tuesday 23rd September to meet the team, and make his lunch!
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP was asked to pop into the store to learn more about the new store, which has opened in addition to their restaurant on the Broadway.
While he was there, he was briefed on local business rates and rent, plans for future expansion and discussed the local business environment as well as the business credentials of the franchise in the city and across the UK.
Steve said: "I've eaten their sandwiches before but I've never made one so it was good to get the chance.
"This a fast growing business with two branches in Winchester already and more planned so I was pleased to be asked to get to know the team and hear about their future plans."
