Thirty four children from Sparsholt Primary School visited Parliament on Monday 18th September, as they learnt more about how Parliament works and what MPs do in the House and in their constituencies.
The group of Year 5 and Year 6 students were able to take a tour of Parliament, before spending time with Steve Brine to take part in a question and answer session.
Steve told them about his role as an MP in the Commons, a Minister in Government and also his role as a constituency MP, and was especially able to highlight the importance of the casework he carries out.
Steve said: "Sparsholt were a really nice group to have visit, and it was a real pleasure to be able to speak with them after their tour. I hope they had a great day, and it was great to be able to show them my Ministerial box!"
