Steve Brine attended a special service celebrating the 275th anniversary ofthe Royal Hampshire County Hospital on Tuesday 18th October at Winchester Cathedral.
The celebration had a huge number of guests, and local dignitaries included the Dean, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, the High Sheriff, Canon Michael St John-Channell and the Mayors of Winchester, Eastleigh, Andover and Whitchurch.
Speaking on his way back to the Commons on Wednesday, Steve said: "This was a delightful service celebrating 275 years of RHCH. I was honoured to be one of those who read a prayer, and the occasion was truly fitting for an institution as beloved as our local hospital."
