Chandler's Ford MP Steve Brine dropped into Microlink PC on Friday 24th May to take a look at their vision of Universal Inclusivity.
Microlink PC is Europe's leading provider of assistive technology and disability related management solutions, and they provide services in the Education, Public and Private sectors. The business was established in 1992, by owners Nasser and Vee, and began as a result of the experiences they both had working with their disabilities in a time where learning difficulties were not always understood, and products and services not easily available.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "Microlink PC is a hugely impressive, and very well-established, company, and I am extremely proud to have them in my constituency.
"It was a real eye-opener seeing exactly what they do, and it comes across loud and clear that they are striving to allow people with and without disability the opportunity to achieve their full potential."
Dr Nasser Siabi, Chief Executive, said: "In today's world, people with disabilities face major barriers in education and employment which prevents them from fulfilling their true potential. At Microlink it's our mission to work towards removing these barriers through the application of the most innovative and appropriate Assistive Technology products and services, allowing individuals who study and work with disabilities to become more productive and contribute more to society.
"The visit from our local MP Steve Brine gave our team an opportunity to showcase our innovative approach to solving the major issues with disability in education and employment. We found Steve's encouraging comments and offer of support very uplifting and motivating."
