Steve Brine addressed local business leaders this morning at the annual Chamber breakfast.
The event, held in conjunction with Winchester BiD, was held at the Winchester Royal Hotel on St Peter Street in the heart of the city and attended by some key local businesses from the city and the wider region.
The MP spoke about the current economic picture following on from last week's Budget in the House of Commons. He also spoke about a wide range of other issues including small boats, net zero, inward investment and how the Government might get re-elected in 2024.
While at the event, Steve also presented a cheque to Winchester Beacon and Trinity Winchester from the proceeds of this year's 'Spare change for lasting change' collection across the city.
Steve Brine has addressed this event every Spring since his election in 2010.
