Steve Brine visited care company Home Instead Senior Care on Friday 4th November as he spent the morning in the pretty market town of Alresford.
Steve and Jan Gapper, who set up the business in March this year, invited the busy MP to officiate at their office opening in September, but unfortunately flu prevented him from originally attending.
Steve Brine said: "I was delighted to be able to visit Home Instead, especially as my original visit to open this new business was struck by a bout of man-flu in September.
"This is a really smart business which gives so many people their dignity and their independence in old age. Steve and Jan have so much energy and I am not at all surprised it is already surpassing current projections.
"Without doubt the franchise model is strong and I think in this market especially we will see franchise businesses do really well."
Home Instead Senior Care is part of a national network recognised as one of the UK's leading home care organisations.
