Steve Brine hosted a group of children from Itchen Abbas Primary School in Parliament, as they had a special trip with a difference on Wednesday 30th January.
The 15 kids from the popular school were able to take in a tour of the Palace of Westminster before they ventured across Whitehall to take a very rare, and special peek, into 10 Downing Street.
Steve Brine said: “I was delighted to be able to arrange this trip, and spend so much time with the children. It was very rare that I was able to get last-minute access to No 10, and I’ll never forget the look on the faces of the kids, as well as the accompanying adults, as we walked up the famous ‘Love Actually’ staircase. They were event quiet for a few moments!”
The Winchester & Chandler’s Ford MP has enjoyed hosting school groups in Parliament for years, and would be delighted to hear from local teachers who are keen to take classes to Parliament. www.stevebrine.com/visitingwestminster
