Summer fete season is well and truly back after two skeleton years, which saw many fetes cancelled including the popular Fryern Funtasia in Chandler's Ford.
The event kicked off the season in style with huge crowds descending on Fryern Recreation Ground for a fun filled day. The annual Fryern fantasia community fun day is a firm tradition on Bank Holiday Monday, with stalls, games and attractions for all the family.
Steve Brine took his kids along and joined the community in the sun. The MP linked up with parish councillor, Cllr Margaret Atkinson as Chandler's Ford came out to support the event.
The Chandler's Ford MP said; "A very welcome return for the Chandler’s Ford FUNTASIA this afternoon. I'm so glad we have it back after two years of cancellations due to the dreaded covid. I must remind myself for next year not to go to over board with the candyfloss!"
