Steve Brine caught up with Paul Spencer from Winchester BID on a cold Friday morning in Winchester for a coffee and catch-up on how the city business community is faring.
Steve spoke with Paul about how Winchester businesses coped coming out of tougher restrictions earlier this year and how they are feeling looking to the future post Covid.
Paul briefed the local MP on Winchester’s plan for Christmas after the sad cancellation this year of the Cathedral Christmas market.
The MP also used the catch-up to discuss his August Hampshire Chronicle column on making Winchester a viable workplace destination as well as the stalling of progress in major projects such as Silver Hill and Station Approach.
Steve Brine said: “Always useful time spent with Paul hearing about our business community and getting feedback on how 2020 has impacted them."
