Steve Brine travelled to Eastleigh on Friday 27th February as he spoke to Chandler's Ford businesses at a special business breakfast.
The Chandler's Ford MP spoke at the Concorde Club event, which was attended by a number of local business organisations and councillors, and highlighted businesses such as Ageas and Condor, which he has met with recently, as well as the strong retail offering at the Fryern Arcade now that the Post Office is situated in WH Smith.
As well as this, Steve mentioned some of the transport challenges we face in Chandler's Ford around access to the M3 at J13 and J14, and the long-running saga of the Chickenhall Lane link road, on which he has offered to work with Eastleigh Borough Council, the Eastleigh MP and Hampshire County Council to get it moving.
He said: "Following on from last Friday's Winchester Business Breakfast, this was a great opportunity to engage with Chandler's Ford businesses.
"In addition to giving key national messages about the actions that Government has taken to promote economic growth, it was a great chance to share some of my thoughts on the local business environment."
