Steve Brine met up with members of the local business community at the University of Winchester on Thursday 6th June, as he took part in the Winchester Business Excellence Awards.
The awards recognise the achievements of local businesses and reward them for their commitment to excellence. Organised by partners Winchester Business Improvement District, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and The Hampshire Chronicle, the competition attracts high profile industry support and offers Winchester businesses the opportunity to promote major achievements and celebrate success.
The Winchester MP, at his 10th ceremony, was on hand to present the Business of the Year award, which was won by The Winchester Bed Company.
Steve Brine said: “This is a brilliant event, full of positive people running vibrant businesses in Winchester.
“It was a record year for entries and great to see some new names nominated and winning. Many congratulations to all those who picked up prizes and attending. We’re proud of you all and salute you.”
